· The telemedicine policy is the use of communication through technology to offer services to patients where specialties are limited. It is a long-distance healthcare Advantage allowing patients to be treated from their own living rooms while providers are sometimes across the country (Chi & Demiris, 2017).

· The Telemedicine policy is a policy that when implemented to assure that the use of telemedicine meets minimum standards of quality, that it is qualified. Advanced, and can run constantly without error (McGonigle & Mastrian, 2011).

· There will be constant continuous research to keep telemedicine modern, to reduce mistakes, to keep up to standards, and to optimize end user as well as patient satisfaction (McGonigle & Mastrian, 2011).

· Our facility, especially with Covid 19 has implemented many forms of telemedicine including telepsychiatry and teleneuro. Telehealth will change accessibility to valuable resources while complying with coverages, HIPPA laws, and patient standards of care (Advanced Payment Models, 2020).

· It is imperative to have cooperate policies to give clear definition of the range of services provided as well as educating the nursing staff on the use of telemedicine and the standards of care to reduce errors. Education should also include assessing for system errors, quick fixes for common error readings and how to report errors (Chi & Demiris, 2017).

· many articles assess the long-term cost-effectiveness reporting that it is cost-effective to utilize telemedicine and further state that telepsychiatry is the least costly program (Serital et al., 2019).

· At first, it was about a specialist-based medicine related to the lack of availability now we can see our primary doctor out of convenience (Eskridge, 2018).
