I am writing this to apply for the position of mental health practitioner in your facility. I am a skilled mental health practitioner, having completed my undergraduate program in mental health. My qualifications for this work include but are not limited to my soft skills including healthy professional boundaries, compassion, empathy, information technology savvy, organization, active listening, strong ethics, the ability to build rapport with clients, a desire to serve others, and hard skills such as record keeping and proficiency in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (Rosen, et al.,2020). In addition to the qualification mentioned above, I have worked as a volunteer worker in mental health for one year. In my job as a volunteer worker, I had experience in handling intake evaluations and on-call rotations as well as providing one on one and group setting counseling.
