(A PATIENT I CARED FOR WAS A ELDERLY PATIENT WITH EARLY SIGNS OF DEMENTIA WHO WAS ADMITTED INTO OUR LONG TERM CARE FACILITY DUE TO HER DAUGHTER HEALTH DECLINING AND NO LONGER ABLE TO CARE FOR HER MOM. INITIALLY THE PATIENT WAS COMBATIVE, NON-COMPLIANT AND SHOWED SIGNS OF DEPRESSION RELATED TO CHANGE OF ENVIRONMENT AND CARE GIVERS. AFTER TIME THE PATIENT BEGIN TO LOVE THE FACILTY AND BECAME ATTACHED TO THE NURSING STAFF AND NO LONGER WANTED TO BE ANYWHER ELSE.
