Policy Issues Facing the United States

The policy issue is a regularized outline to resolve significant and real-world issues, administered by the appreciation and enforced by the docket as the pathway of comportment developed and enacted, typically by the government or no-profit organization, in acknowledgment to either social, political, or economic, and cultural issues. The foremost important policy issue facing the United Nations is the affordability of health care and drug addiction policy. This policy has affected so many people in the United States, especially those people addicted to drugs (Meinhofer et al.,2018). In addition to health care, people from weak backgrounds have been a challenging time seeking medication from their doctors.

The affordability of health care and drug addiction is a policy issue that needs to be addressed. There are open goals for having an alcohol and drug policy from the health and safety outlook. Alcohol or other drug abuse can impact the capability of employers and employees to manage a secure workplace environment. This policy ensures the practicable health and safety of employees. The United States spends more on health care as a share of the economy than other countries. In 2018, health care spending accounted for over $6 trillion, of which people of poor backgrounds could manage to access their health care. The health care policy needs to be addressed all over, for this helps to change the behavior of health care, payers, and the growth rate in healthcare spending. The affordability problem is fundamentally a cost problem, which needs much concern. Medicaid and Medicare estimated that billions of money are spent on every man, woman, and child in the United States on health care.
