1. List 10 reasons people begin a physical activity program (benefits).
2. List 10 reasons people do not begin a physical activity program (barriers).
a. Indicate which benefits are long-term and which benefits are short-term.
b. Turning to the barriers, indicate which you have control over and which you do not have control over.
c. Do the barriers seem to outweigh the benefits?
d. This time focus on short term benefits and on barriers over which you have control. Does this change the picture?
