The patent care I provide has significantly impacted my career and decision to continue my education. Interacting and relating with patients from diverse backgrounds has increased my understanding of the uniqueness of each patient and why it is essential to be flexible throughout the caring process. The patient care I provide has increased my understanding of the different facets of care and why it is essential to commit myself at all stages of care to improve the patient’s health outcome. I am also more courageous and confident when handling complex nursing procedures. This includes the ability to remain calm even in a stressful environment.

I have enhanced my liaison abilities based on shifts and departmental collaboration prevalent in the entire caring process. My decision to continue education has also been impacted by the patient care I provide. The challenges that I have faced in the caring process, such as the need to consider the cultural elements in the caring process and the application of nursing theory in clinical decisions and practices, have encouraged me to engage in continuous education. The care I provide has also persuaded me to advance my education to make informed decisions throughout the caring process. This also adds to the need to improve my abilities to provide evidence-based care by considering the uniqueness of each patient. I am looking forward to increasing my competence in providing patient-centered care, which can only be achieved through continuous education.
