RWL Family Healthcare Clinic is a patient-centered healthcare facility that aims at putting the patients’ care at the forefront.  The facility comprises six staff members who offer healthcare services.  There are two doctors who focus on meeting the entire family’s needs.  They are uniquely trained to care for patients of any age.  They are assisted by the office manager, two nurses, and a pharmacist.  The healthcare facility operates from Monday to Saturday, six days a week.  On average, RWL Family Healthcare Clinic cares for about 200 patients weekly.  The facility addresses and manages common health complaints, chronic and acute illness, and uncover hidden conditions.  The healthcare facility has a dedicated team of healthcare professionals that can offer high-quality medical services.

Electronic Health Records System

The healthcare facility requires quick access to patient records for more efficient and coordinated care.  This will help increase patient participation improve diagnostics and care coordination.  The healthcare facility needs an electronic health record (EHR) system.  The electronic health record is an electronic patient medical history that offers relevant clinical data (Kruse et al., 2018).  The healthcare system uses and controls the EHR system to gather and store the patient’s medical information.  For instance, the system may include contact information, patient’s demographics, vital signs, current and past medications, medical history, and laboratory data.  This will be significant in the healthcare facility since it will capture various medical data from the individual patient over time and allow the doctors to manage the clinical workflows.  Therefore, the doctors will efficiently diagnose the cases, offer safer care, and reduce medical errors.
